Babak Salimi
Assistant Professor, UCSD
I am actively seeking Ph.D. students interested in Data Management, particularly in areas such as Data Management for Machine Learning, Responsible Data Science, Data Cleaning and Debiasing, Data Integration, and Data-centric AI. It's worth noting that my research primarily gets published in top-tier venues like VLDB and SIGMOD. The research topics I focus on require a multifaceted skill set, including expertise in data management, machine learning, statistics, and optimization. If these areas align with your interests, I encourage you to carefully fill out this questionnaire. This is also applicable to undergraduate and master's students interested in joining our lab; please complete the questionnaire before reaching out.
